Re: New run of the JBLP Gold Tops?

Or, you can buy a traditional and have the same guitar.

Re: New run of the JBLP Gold Tops?

That is my current plan....but if I can get a JBLP and the price difference isn't huge, then I'd rather have the JB...

Guitars: Fender American Original 60s Strat, Fender American Vintage 52 Tele, Gibson Les Paul Traditional
FX: Various including - Ceriatone Centura, Fire Custom Shop Carpe Diem
Amp: Fender ML212 Deville + 212 extention cabinet

Only with Grovers, Bursbuckers ( probably), black plastics, maybe nylon saddles and slightly different color I think.

Mine has Grovers wink

Re: New run of the JBLP Gold Tops?

I'm interested to see a) If they're actually making this guitar (has it been confirmed or are we all just extrapolating from a photo?) and b) what the price and spec will be...

At the moment a LP Traditional is top of my wish-list...but as I say, if the price isn't too different and the spec is right (non-rosewood fretboard would be a deal breaker for me) then I'd rather go with the JBLP as you stand a decent chance of it holding its value...(not that I would even intend to sell it)

Mansons in Exeter might also be worth a try. They usually have an excellent range of Gibsons in stock and have had JB models in the past.
