Topic: what pickups to put in a gigliotti?

Hi guys , i have a gigliotti tele and i love it but ... i starting to find the pickups a bit thin sounding and am wanting something a bit hotter!

i have fralin hybrids in them but i don't seem to be getting on with them , i need something warmer and smooth and fatter but cleans ups for a vintage tone !! I'm asking for alot!!  iv looked at lollers , bare knuckle and other brands ,
I'm looking at seymour duncans as they are cheaper for me to get  and they have the biggest selection!
I'm looking at , antiquities or hot for tele , or lil  59......   etc   I'm not looking for the vintage tone that joe gets from his real 52 as i would just get a 52 relic or something but it needs to be articulate and warm !!! if you have any experience with these please let me know!

Personally, I think the biggest problem you got with the Fralins is they are hot.  Try a vintage wound pickup with Alnico II's.  Antiquities would be my vote.

Joe Barden's sound great in Gigliotti guitars.

I'd look at other aspects of your chain before changing those pickups mate, seriously, they are extremely high quality items!
