Re: My Rig Demo Videos (3 Part Series)

New Video. This time with Class 5 heads. Sound is a little different. Decide which you like better. The Class 5 heads are driven by 2 overdrives (stacked) whereas the first rig demo I was only using the MXR M77. Same mic placement. I also used a single overhead mic, centered between cabinets for the parts with both amps played together. This was done on BOTH demos. Forgot to mention that before. -Seth

See what you think:

If there are others who have rig demo videos, perhaps we can do a thread where everyone can post theirs.

Very nice would love to hear you with a band in a studio setting. Also would love to hear you play more clean but mean blues. Great chops man
Keep rocking
cheers Ron

Likewise, great sound. big_smile

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Re: My Rig Demo Videos (3 Part Series)

Thanks again guys!

Ron, the only "studio" things I have done are the 3 songs on youtube under "Blues Harem", my old band. And by studio, I mean my basement and the same recorder..! We did a couple recordings when I first got the unit so they're a little rough.

Re: My Rig Demo Videos (3 Part Series)

Third Video. This time 2 Marshall Class 5 combos. Definitely more noisy than the head into cabinet setup. But much easier to cart around.

Re: My Rig Demo Videos (3 Part Series)

Thanks a bunch guys.

Ron, yes sir, I ALWAYS leave the trem on. Its a pretty hefty throb the way I have it set. Stands out more when I don't have my OD pedal(s) on. When I first started playing guitar I always thought those pedals seemed dumb..I played metal..so go figure. When I heard of Joe a few years back I saw he used one and I loved the way it sounded so I bought a supatrem. I haven't looked back since! Most people would give up any pedal but their delay or reverb, I'd give them all up before my trem and ts808. -S

p.s. Hoping these rig videos will coax something out of that studio up in Pelham wink

Re: My Rig Demo Videos (3 Part Series)

Great playing and great tone also. Pelham should be listening!!

Sounds great you should now write your own material and go for it. As far as my studio in Pelham. I am working very hard to pull together the 12 tunes I have into something that my wife would of been proud of. Stay tuned. For you man you have the chops and i love the tone, don't ever give up.
Rock on

Thanks Peter!

Appreciate that a lot Ron. I'm sure I speak for everyone on here that when you do get some tunes out, they will be killer! -S
