Topic: Mr Kyps last night

A special Hi to Michael, LynB, Annelies, and Marianne,

Joe put on another great show last night as always. He seemed more relaxed and happy ( probably the beer ),  thanks go to

Bogey, Carmen, and Rick for supporting Joe so well. I felt there was something special between them!  Although mark was missed.

Until the next time guys, Enjoy a well earned break on your return to the States.

Awesome, the Power of Joe.........

Re: Mr Kyps last night

Hi I'm new to this, I was shamed into joining the forum by Annelies when she called me a 'Lurker' at Tavistock last Thursday, I didn't like the sound of that so I decided to become a fully paid up Joe nut. I've been watching this forum for a couple of years since I first saw Joe at Mr Kyps back in 2005, his first UK show. It's good to put faces to all these people I've been reading postings from, hello Michael (hope you haven't lost my address) Annelies and Marianne hope you get home safely to Holland and Lyn B who lives down the road from me, I stood next to you and your husband at Sheperds Bush and didn't know it was you.
I hope you all enjoyed the gig last night at Kyps I believe we saw something special, Joe was on mighty form and 'Woke Up Dreaming' was the best ever, I was nearly defended by the sound of jaws hitting the ground.
Last night was also my daughters (14 year old Caity) first Joe experience and she is now converted (helped by getting one of Bogie's sticks, a Joe autograph and photo with him) she can't believe how nice and friendly everyone was, thanks Joe, Carmine and Bogie (where was Rick ?) I think he's quite shy and keeps his head down.
I posted a review of the 2 Mr Kyps shows and the Tavistock gig on the Kyps web site this afternoon I hope they put them on the site so as you can all go there and have a read, I can't believe my luck 3 shows in 4 days !!
As I speak the sun is shining at last, Joe must of brought it with him from Europe and 'You And Me is blasting out on the stereo, everything is good in the world at the moment.
Bye for now John

Re: Mr Kyps last night

Jon, Good for you, coming out of the shadows and into the light. The parent/child bounding that Joe facilitates is a wonderful thing. Almost makes him a public servant! It means alot to us stateside to read the reviews. You are all such great fans. It's why Joe keeps coming back to you. Thanks to all who share...............Cathy

Re: Mr Kyps last night

An amazing night Friday in poole, I didnt thinK i would enjoy the gig more than shepherds bush but I did !! thought the sound was superb! ive never been to Mr kyps before im only about 1hour 15 mins down the coast so not too far away, what a great venue I dont like big venues so this was great, will definately go again, like every body said Joe seemed really relaxed and it was great to see joe crack up laughing on one of the songs sorry cant remember which one, dont know what sparked that!! thought bogies solo was great being a drummer myself, I really got off on that!! Met  a couple of great people there Baxter and Frog who flew over from guernsey, great to met you guys sorry never got to say goodbye,  hope you were impressed baxter being your first Joe show?? did somebody say Joe is back in February ?? wheeeyyhheeeey!!!  by the way did anybody record the show?? and what was the instumental song that Joe closed with before he came on right at the end with the accoustic? ..............K
