Topic: Goldtop used on Happier Times at RAH

What can you guys tell me about the Goldtop Les Paul that Joe used on Happier Times at the Royal Albert?

It has the black plastic parts like his signature model, but has a light back and blank truss rod cover, so I'm thinking it's not a JBLP...

Is it an R7 or something else?

Oh and sorry if this has been covered before, I did do a search but didn't find anything....

Guitars: Fender American Original 60s Strat, Fender American Vintage 52 Tele, Gibson Les Paul Traditional
FX: Various including - Ceriatone Centura, Fire Custom Shop Carpe Diem
Amp: Fender ML212 Deville + 212 extention cabinet

I believe that's a 1957 Goldtop.

That’s not a JBLP. The body and neck are not black and there are no kidney tuners.  If you have the DVD and check liner notes for Joe’s gear used. He lists a LP that was on loaned to him for the show.  I can’t remember if the loaner was a JBLP or not.

I know that a JBLP #99 was modified to look like an Original Goldtop, but the makeover was in late 2011.
