Topic: Hi from Belgium

Once I hear a guitar player name floating around, I'm about as eager to hear him as I'm jaded about what is possibly yet another guitar player - of course there is no really such a thing as "yet another guitar player" and there's always something to take away from it, but that's just how I am.

And so it was with Joe Bonamassa, and at first I was not sure what the hype was all  about. Sure, he had a great guitar tone, and some solid tunes. And a ton of records. And those tones are in fact gorgeous. Oh and as a rocker, BCC and John Henry really got to me. And his interviews and insights are generally great. Did I mention his guitar tones? And, without realizing it, here we are.

It seems only fitting, then, that as a resolute stratoid and superstrat player on and off for 20 years, I finally just got my first LP, and that looking for the best bang for the buck, I end up with an Epi JB.

Hello to you all, then.
