Re: Goodnight Vienna-Acoustic Opera House Review

Just home from a week long vacation, and this thread was the sort of treat I was hoping for, on my return to catch up on the forum.  I'm going to go Vienna video crazy tomorrow.

Thanks to all who've shared their Vienna experience.  And those who've shared in the excitement, here.

Pete, thanks for being so generous with your time and effort to capture and share the night.  I'm blown away...and haven't even watched more than a second or two of video, yet.  And thanks in advance for the big grin I'll be wearing tomorrow, when I do a marathon watch.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

...thanks Joe! ...if you and that merry band of men have found the video helpful to what ever extent then great! ..chuffed! ...came out of that building in Vienna with such a buzz ...it will live with me always! ...every inch and mile, every pound or euro, every bead of sweat, every spoonful of runny scrambled egg was worth every second of every minute! ...my hotel on the outskirts of town was playing BCC,The Great Divide over the PA ... so i'll let them off the runny scrambled eg! wink

Thanks again Pete and for the teaser ...

Can't wait for Mountain Time.  If ever there was a song that would work well very simply done with just Joe and a violin or two it's this one.  Here's hoping and anticipating.

Re: Goodnight Vienna-Acoustic Opera House Review

Pete,
First off, thank you so much for capturing Bonahistory! I enjoyed everyone of these.
Second, very cool that your work caught the attention of Joe and the band!
Kudos all around!
Joe, if you see this...please bring that acoustic tour through Chicago! I'll start handing out flyers now to guarantee a full house. The Auditorium Theater would be sn AWESOME venue...billed ad acoustically perfect (is there such a thing?), it is a Chicago landmark and the first building in the city to have A/C...they blew air over huge blocks of ice.

Once again, thanks so much. Pete was kind enough to give me permission to help a bit. Here is the whole show's audio in sequence converted to MP3 for download from my cloud storage. Sit back and enjoy an hour and 38 minutes of nonstop Joe from down the front with our friends in Vienna. (the file has an .dll extension which some players might need a plugin to play. Readily available online) Your Itunes player will work just fine.
