Love it, Rocket. Is that your shortest post ever? lol

I expect more tomorrow (or later) when you've got your breath back. Mine's baited and has been all evening waiting for an acoustic tidbit.

Re: Goodnight Vienna-Acoustic Opera House Review

Set list as posted by joe except Richmond came after Jockey Full of Bourbon. Sitting outside in a cafe while it rains, trying to absorb the show. My word would be stunning!! There was a full wall of music provided by a stellar backup all-star band.  You could not ignore the percussion if yoy tried. All that you might miss in an an acoustic solo perormance was not missed due to gloriously enhancing instrumentalists and their skills. It would be criminal to not mention the other instrument in the room...Joe,s voice! Spot on. As they say in England. The opera was beautiful, understatement. The crowd was SO enthused! Pete has decided to put a video up ASAP, so keep alaert. More later after it,s settled in my brain.   Cathy

I am not the eloquent type so I will leave the reviews to more qualified people. Cathy got it spot on. It was amazing, with what I think was the best rendition of Slow Gin I have ever heard. it was great to meet up with everyone, afternoon and night. Made it a perfect day.... Glyn and Jo.

For 2 hrs, life was sweet.  Perfect venue, perfect sound, kudos to European audience for their conduct.

Joe turned a big room into a campfire jam.  He seems to have the ability to shrink any room to Intimate  proportions.

Also, great to meet many of the Bonamafia, quite an eclectic group.  For the record, ghoulash is a tragic case  of a great dish in need of a new name.

Rachael posted on Facebook that it isn't J&R asking for the vids to be removed. Didn't know who theorized it would be the venues possibly.

Pete - thank you for that beautiful taste of what must have been an amazing show.  I love the campfire jam analogy.  Our boy has grown up once again in front of our eyes.

Re: Goodnight Vienna-Acoustic Opera House Review

Cathy posted from Rocket's ipad while we sheltered from the rain and thunderstorm that burst right after the show - she also stole my word. I was going to say "stunning", but I'll have to go with "awesome"! big_smile

However, I managed to catch a few words with Joe afterwards and can share some great news with all our US brethren!

Joe will be bringing the acoustic set to the US next year!! Rejoice!

That is some fast wifi Pete!  What a great song choice for the acoustic show!  Wow!  Love this song anyway and this performance had all the perfect sound effects for a Waits cover.  Joe's Spanish guitar interlude was beautiful and unexpected.  Bravo!!

p.s. Who was that on keys?  Looks like EC's guy or Arlen.

Gospel, Sandy! I have more news but have to find out first what I can share...will try to get back as soon as humanly possible considering the amount of traveling we're doing in the coming days.

...you might have to wait a bit for the other 16 vid's then! hmm
