Topic: Jon Lord - Joe working with him?

anybody aware of this?

http://jonlord.org/2012/06/10/concerto- … september/

I know Jon has been pretty ill recently with the dreaded "C", he did some interesting work with my daughters violin teacher and he was telling me about it and his illness. Good to see that he is still working and that Joe features on his forthcoming release.

Great news, Ian. Thanks for posting this. I think it deserves to be on the General Forum.

Re: Jon Lord - Joe working with him?

Wow, that must be the one Joe was working on and they got it to production. I and probably many more would like to know if it was all the latest sessions and what part was done prior to Jon's sad demise. Anyone have info?

Re: Jon Lord - Joe working with him?

Glowing review of joes playing
" The guitar contributions of the one and only Joe Bonamassa are stunning, and Jon’s cadenza is superbly expressive. The pastoral string quartet coda is quite wondrous. The slow movement is perhaps the most significant and gratifying departure from previous interpretations."
