Topic: ZZ Top/3 Doors Down/Gretchen Wilson

Well, I saw these 3 acts last night in Dallas at Starplex (aka Smirnoff, Superpages, Gexa Energy Pavillion), and it was one awesome show!! Gretchen played first and was really good. She played a few of her own songs, plus covers of Foreigner's Hot Blooded, & Led Zeppelin's Rock & Roll. 3 Doors Down played next and played most of their big hits. Brad Arnold can really sing and they are a great band!! And of course ZZ Top closed the show and rocked!! They played most of their huge hits plus some songs I hadn't heard live including the opener I Thank You, Heard It On The X, Heaven Hell Or Houston, Stages, Vincent Price Blues. My arm is a bit soar from doing so much air guitar last night!! It was fun show. I'd definitely see these acts again, especially 3 Doors Down.

Does 3 Doors Down still include a Skynyrd cover in their set? It used to be a given.

No Skynyrd cover this time.
