Deezer,   wink   Thanks for posting this!  I get so caught up in the world of Joe, I sometimes forget to check on my other favorite people....yes, I have an addiction problem.....I had the time of my life seeing John Fogerty in Chicago last year......I could hardly walk after the concert, so much shooting up into the air like a rocket ship......it was a h***uva' show......I will never forget it....and I will never ever forget him talking to me during the show.....PRICELESS.....I would still love to hear Joe do Tombstone Shadow & Keep On Chooglin'......my all-time favorite Fogerty is Lodi, well along with Born on the Bayou (oh me, oh my), Run Thru the Jungle, Green River.....that boy can play...guitar and harmonica.....he is very unique in sound & style....can't wait to hear this new one......Patty

John Fogerty's live album, Premonition, is still one of my great standbys.  I swear I must have bought that album about 9 years ago now and I still have it playing regularly.  And I agree with you Deezer, for my money you don't get much better in the singer-songwriter category than Fogerty!

I bought his DVD "The Long Road Home" earlier this year and it is great. It has songs from the CCR years and from his solo years also.He has always been one of my favorite singer songwriters.

To this day I still get arguments from people telling me that CCR was from the Louisiana Delta or Texas. They are actually the pride of El Cerrito, an inner city town on the edge of SF Bay that stretches up to the Berkeley Hills just north of Berkeley. I've been a fan since the 60's and always will be.
