I think that stuff is really cool. I don't own an iPad but that looks like a neat rig, especially for the traveling guitarist. So someone needs to do this with 2 iRig setups and blend the Jubilee with another virtual amp!
Another question: Is this iRig thing something you can essentially gig with? Does it have the ability to run directly into a mixing board and then you can just use monitors to hear yourself?

Not sure about iRig...however...with Guitar Rig Pro you can do that...it's like £150 but you can gig with it and get all the tones you could possibly want
I've had Amplitube on the iPhone/iPad for a while now and love it. This new Slash 'expansion pack' sounds good and I will get it for sure.
The new version of Amplitube also supports the 30 pin connector, so you can use the Apogee Jam or Alesis IO Dock with it now it seems, which opens up a whole new world (and better input quality).
