Topic: Budwah an a SJ

Hi! Got an handwired Silver Jubilee with a PPIMV an a Buddah Budwah, but I cant get an woooly sound of of it. Just the treble. Change wah or what?

Did get two of Joes picks after the show at Cirkus, Sweden, but my wife hit her head in the seat in front of her as she got them for me. It was all worth it!

You mean the wah or amp is trebly?

The wah wont go dark just trebly. My settings on the Sj is On the rather trebly side ( i hate iphones spelling program!)

Well wah pedals do accentuate the treble, almost give a slight boost when engaged. Probably not going to get a real bass'y sounding wah but some seem to add less treble. However, your tone doesn't change much and kind of defeats the purpose that way..I think. If your amp is set more on the higher treble sounding side, then a wah in general is only going to make it more piercing.

Try these settings

Presence: 5, Bass: 10, Mids: 7.5, treble 4.5, Master 10, volume 5, gain 5.

My sound is more of AFD and my wah is working just 50% sort of.

Can't go wrong with the Cantrell wah or the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe.  OR you could get your own custom wah built like I did!  Well, like the guys at Celestial Effects built for me.  It is highly tweak-able and can fit any style of music  smile
