Topic: Would love a new instructional DVD! =-)

I know that this has been talked about before, but thought I'd be the squeaky wheel =-)...

Would love to see Joe put out another instructional video! This time with an emphasis on his playing rather than gear, etc. It would be great to dissect his playing with plenty of examples... Joe licks focussing on his influences such as Clapton, EJ, Gatton, etc, as well as the various sides of his own original musical voice. Lead and rhythmic ideas, his killer vibrato, etc.

Anyone else interested in this??? I'm sure there'd be one or two of us! ;-)

Any plans for this in the works?

That would be great.

Eric Johnson's The Art of The Electric Guitar is simple. He talks about different phrasing, different chord inversions. He talks about Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton, and Keith Richards as his influences. Something like this from Joe would be great.

Dear Joe, Please can your guitarist followers/ fans have a new instructional focusing on your approach to lead playing, your phrasing, how your influences have changed your playing and how your lead style has evolved over your career. IT would be great to know more about your technique, your vibrato etc etc

I'd like a concert with bits and pieces of behind the scenes material mixed in between songs. Him and the band, backstage, maybe some history talk or tour bus travels.

I think instructional material should be fixed to YouTubesque clips (which I'd love to see). Entire instructional DVDs are intrinsically a little corny and fall into the "learn how to play guitar in a day!" vibe. Lets see more stuff behind the scenes on your next concert DVD, Joe!
