Topic: TC Helicon C1 voice correction pedal

Hey all,

I was thinking about getting a voice correction pedal that corrects pitch... you can set it to a key, or put a guitar through it so the key changes with the chord playing on the guitar. Has anyone used one of these yet?
I'd use it for solo acoustic  covers at small bar gigs, and possibly for my Foo Fighters tribute band cool

The C1 is simple pitch correction (and auto-tune if you want that crap)

and then change your forum name to T-Payne wink?  Come on Nic, guts and glory!!  The Stones were out of pitch all the time; and umm... errr... I have heard JB himself land a couple of vocal clams on the occasion.

Honestly it'd probably be cheaper and more rewarding just to practice be a better singer.

Re: TC Helicon C1 voice correction pedal

That's the response I expected.

I found a used one for cheap, so we'll see.

There's some songs that are just out of my range, so it would be interesting to see if it works.
JBfan1, I've been singing since 2001 - and I practice quite a bit. It's cheating a little bit, but if it keeps people in their barstools and I can hear a difference, it might be worth keeping. Not that I ever chased anyone out of a bar with my voice lol

Andy Powell from Wishbone Ash uses something similar to generate harmonies... so i do see some merit on that account if the back up vocals are not cutting it.  but yeah man, give it a whirl, and we will make fun of you just a little, until we can hear how good it sounds and then we will buy our own tongue
