Stefan you rock!Keep with your mate there.It may become a responsibility,but well worth it.You may make a lifelong friend,who knows.
More important if you can help someone through music,sports or whatever.you will be blessed forever.I also hope you have your own issues under control.

Speaking as someone who spends his time teaching adolescents, I can tell you that your mentoring of this young man is more valuable to him than even you may realize.  In my experience, the greatest source of depression among young people is the notion that they are alone, that no one "gets" them.  That you have become someone this person admires, feels like he can communicate with, etc., will be quite therapeutic in this regard.  And I think you'll find it has positive benefits for your own state of mind as well.  Good on ya, mate!  wink
