Topic: Mason Rack Band from Down Under

Back from Schöppingen: 2 incredible days ... amazing good musicians and bands I’ve never seen before ...
My personal highlight of the festival was the Mason Rack Band from Australia.
A kick-ass show and killer performance of:

Mason Rack, guitar & vocals & percussion
Nathan Lee-Archer, bass & percussion
Joel Purkess, drums & percussion

Mason Rack is an animal on stage and ROCKS your socks off!
The raspy voice, the guitar playing, the rhythmic drumming, the energetic bass ... not to forget the sixpacks ... WOW WOW WOW.
I have empty pockets now though they made special prices ... bought everything they had for sale and was glad that it was my turn before they were sold out ...

What a great two days in Schoppingen, weather was beautiful as always, and the varied artists were outstanding.
Ben Poole, Henrick Freischlader, Shane Dwight, Mason Rack, Kenny Neal and Lucky Peterson were awesome.
Hope you got home alright with Ralph.
Will see you all again next year

What shall I do today???
Go to a concert of the Nimmo Brothers @ Hapa Haole in Mülheim-Ruhr. Nice venue with fantastic burgers and about 15 minutes away from home.
Or a trip to Enschede in the Netherlands for Masan Rack??? That's at least a 90 minutes drive.

Yesterday it was finally time for Mason Rack @ Cafe de Noot in Amersfoort, Netherlands.
Mason Rack & Joel "Thunderfoot" Purkess & Jamie "Robo" Roberts fired out a freakin' rockin' show not from this world !!!
They rocked my socks twice off !!! It was such a blast !!!

Just reading the review (Dutch) of Mason Rack's concert @ The Nix in Enschede and they booked him again !!!!
Not in two years, not next year but they booked the Mason Rack Band again on 18 JUNE  lol cool lol

OH YIIIIIIIEEEEHHHAAA   cool lol cool  WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO

So far I've seen 3 bloody freakin' shows !!!! All different and all absolutely stunning and mind-blowing and since Sunday (my first show) I'm running around with a big grin in my face.
Today I'll have an off-day and tomorrow my next full Mason Rack concert @ Zaal Irene in Venlo and from there on to Schöppingen.
Bit sad that I have to let out the Blues Open Festival on Saturday where Mason will be the headliner of the festival - one can't have it all !!! Sunday it's again time to see the band in Schöppingen.

Dinsdag zagen we het Australische bluestrio Mason Rack Band live. Nou zijn we inmiddels wel wat gewend op bluesgebied, maar dit maakten we nog niet eerder mee ..... Wat een power, wat een energie, wat een act en bovenal wat een prachtige muzikanten! Sensationeel en amazing. Ze bleken nog een paar avonden vrij te hebben in hun toer en samen met Cafe Ome Ko besloten we ze in te vliegen in Waik. Woensdagavond 11 juni om 20.00 uur zijn ze hier. Kom het zien en vooral BELEVEN!! Krijg je beslist geen spijt van. Toegang 5,-. www.bluesinwijk.nl

What Blues in Wijk say, is: Saw them - loved them - booked them. They loved the power, the energy  and were impressed from the musicians as well … They've seen a lot, but nothing like this …

I had to go to another Mason Rack show yesterday :-))))))  to pick up some posters of the band for Freddy, the owner of the bar Zur alten Post. Found Freddy with the same big grin in his face that I had when all lights went green for that gig :-))))))
I have a feeling that the roof of this venue will fly high !!!!
