Re: jb aged gold top for sale 249!

Just to set the scene - the LAST time Peach Guitars had one of these for sale about 18 months ago, they had it listed for around USD$5000.  Steve, I think you or another forum member pointed me to it when I was looking to get my own JBLP back then.

Not surprising that the rarity and desirability of these guitars has pushed the price up by $1000 in that time...  Where's the price headed from here????? cool

That price seems more in line. These guitars are worth every penny. If you play one you will see why. Someone better grab it before G.A.S. sets in.

Well, I've got my Powerball tickets for Saturday's drawing, so what more is there for me to do?  wink

This thread actually belongs in the Marketplace section.

Re: jb aged gold top for sale 249!

Sorry this should be in the Market place section ,well to me these guitars are worth it just like the the koss, pearly gates,Bloomfield ,slash and everyone else who has a les Paul model!!everyone pays big bucks for signature guitars , just like the koss (love the guy, god rest his soul) but he isn't even here to see it through!! Catch my drift!!    The guitar will still be for sale it needs a good home and is a collectable and it will only go up in value so if you can .... Grab it before little jimmys dad buys it for him to play kirk hammet solos on ! Lol.

Re: jb aged gold top for sale 249!

Thing is the price has only gone up by 100 since the last one they had at peach guitars!  the symour pickups add more to the guitar ! Remember your getting it shipped properly not like when people send stuff from e bay! The guitar will be waiting for you plus you get a nice jb strap! Whooo!!

Actually it almost should be on Ebait.  My opinion is Marketplace should be square deal place (yes, it should be a requirement in my opinion-we have high freaking standards around here) to set firm prices with or without a story.  Haggling and finagling and having to ask how much something costs or asking to make offers just make it a game instead of honest to goodness straight ahead seller-buyer dealing...it's just an auction at that point, yup.

Just put a price on things (tickets too!) and posts biting or not determine the outcome, as sale or oh well, or maybe pursuing at auction...elsewhere.   hmm

This appears to be a sincere though somewhat roundabout offer that belongs here, so it doesn't apply to RELLY needing to be on eBaste, but I think the interest generated merited a good time to say what I just said. wink
