Topic: WTS: 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1957 Re-issue Limited

Hi Guys,

I'm putting up for a sale an excellent condition(no dings), collector,seldom played,'never-used-live' 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1957 Re-issue in Candy Apple Blue. It's a limited run and is 1 of the only 25 pieces worldwide. Sound-wise, the most sonically superior les paul i've ever own. Aesthetic-wise ,It goes from blue to turquoise to black depending upon the light. A real beauty. I'm really reluctant but im selling it to raise funds for another project.

It'll come together with the OHSC,COA and all the tags that came with it.

With many fakes coming out of that region of the world I'd like to see more details about the guitar. And the seller.

What i have in mind, instead of shipping it overseas, if anyone of you is on a holiday to Singapore, i would gladly do a meet up for you to view the guitar before purchasing.

I have bad experiences with shipping guitars....very bad shipping experiences.

And please accept my apologies if i made this forum looked commercial with my first post. The reason why i posted this here is because I'm aware there's a vibrant JB community here and thought that this particular guitar might be of interest to someone here. I'm hoping to off load this to someone who can appreciate it more than i do.

Not to try to call this one out by just the pictures alone, but that looks like Chrome Hardware?  Also that case looks like it has some room for the Les Paul to move around a touch, like its not snug.  Not to call you out but I think this is a fake.  You'll have to show more pictures before I'd believe otherwise.

Bear in mind everyone, that "the region" is Singapore, and not China/Korea.  This is a country where you get jailed for spitting on the sidewalk.  I hate to think what they would do to people selling counterfeit guitars!

In all seriousness, I love Singapore, and the people too.  But as in all cases, you should do due diligence, no matter whether the seller is next door from you or across the world.

I am actually planning to visit Singapore again in a few weeks, to do some fossicking around the guitar stores there.  If a serious interested buyer here wanted me to check on this guitar, I would be happy to.

To clarify, yes, those are chrome hardware. It came originally with the Guitar, nothing has been changed or modified. I'm pretty sure this is not a counterfeit, had e-mail Bob from Gibson to double check with the serial numbers and pictures before i bought it.

To clear the air, i will have pics up when i get home tonight. stay tuned!

And no, we don't get jailed for spitting on sidewalks. Just CWO (corrective work order) where you'll be forced to serve time to clean up public parks as "voluntary" cleaner big_smile

I've have owned one of these CAB 57 LP's before. From the couple of pics shown it looks right but I still want to see more detailed pictures. Yes they did come with chrome hardware. As the seller said the color will change depending upon the lighting. It's really a cool color. I kick myself daily for letting mine go.

I think it should have Grovers instead of the tulip tuners.....more pics.....

lol because im a lazy bast*rd. (Well that could be part of the reason) , But mainly it's because i felt that the picture was well taken and it captured the essence of this guitar.
