My frowns have now turned into smile smile smile smile smile smile smile  As I giggled with glee, 2 issues in hand, showing to my gal pals, a young man looking at other guitar mag, puts his down, looks at what I got and picks himself up a copy.  (Cracked me up)  Get up to the check out counter and the clerk says,  "Excuse me, do you know you have two copies of that?"  I was still laughing and said," I would buy the whole darn stack, but I should leave some for others to read about Joe!"  She then looks at my purse and says, "Well there he is on your keychain with that same guitar!"  and then she cracked up when I opened my wallet and there was another picture of Joe......... I just might have a problem........... lol

Now prior to this I was at an afternoon bank party at The Market and had 4 Joe shows to give out to some of the "hipper" employees.  My new friends Molly & Holly left with BIG SMILES on their faces.  I will be anxious to hear what they think.  I think I am pretty safe in saying that there will be some more Joe fans "born tonight."

Where'd you get the keychain?  I'd like to get my hands on one of those.

Re: Vintage Guitar Cover

Just got my copy. Well written - actually learned some new things. After you  read enough articles about Joe, they tend to get repetitious. So I was pleased to see what I saw.

Re: Vintage Guitar Cover

oh - by the way!

ther was this English Blues/Rock magazine that came with a DVD for $14.99 - it had a short thing on JB, KWS, JohnMayer, and derektrucks for future blues guys....but the bulk of it was about clapton, zeppelin, beck, bluesbreakers, etc. etc.  looked really good!  If I had the $ching$ I would have bought that as well.  Just a heads up.

Re: Vintage Guitar Cover

Well....I was visiting the Border's Bookstore in Des Moines last night and looking thru guitar mags in search of any Joe material when I overheard two guys talking about the latest issue of Vintage Guitar with Gary Moore on the cover.  Then I hear one of them say, "Hey, look in the Reader Mail section, there's a letter from some gal in Indianola, IA (12 miles south of Des Moines) on last months Joe Bonamassa cover. " Now I'm thinking I know some crazy Joe Bonamassa fan in Indianola.....ME !   I was so tickled that they put my letter in and they had a cool "caricature" of Joe next to it !!!  Luv ya' Joe !       pattyluvsjoe

Patty,
Your enthusiasm never ceases to amaze me! I got a big smile on my face thinking about you overhearing that conversation. Were you tempted to say "Hey, that's me!"?
