Topic: Buffalo NY May 16, 2012 Who's going

I'm bringing my brother and sister to Buffalo NY on May 16, 2012

It's 110 miles one way and a border crossing but its the closest show for me.

I'm in the belcony Section 4, Row B, seats 205-206-207

who else is going?

Re: Buffalo NY May 16, 2012 Who's going

I'm not sure what every bodies plans are after the meet and greet but before the show.

Since I have to cross the border to get to the M'n'G I will have to have dinner over in Buffalo
So the M'n'G arrival is 4pm and the gathering with Joe starts roughly at 4:30pm

I believe he runs these for about 30min, so potentially we'll be out of the M'n'G by about 5:15pm.
My brother figures that http://pearlstreetgrill.com/directions is fairly economical for us and any one that wants to join us for dinner before the show is surely welcome.

76 Pearl Street, Buffalo, NY, United States (716) 856-2337

From what I see from Google this Grill is about a 15min walk pretty much straight down Main street and over one once you hit Swan.

(BTW Pearl street is the street on the back door to Shea's Theatre)

I would assume that depending on how busy it is we could gather between 5:30pm and 6pm.

That should give us a good 1.5 hrs for dinner and still have enough time to get back to the theatre by around 7:30pm for the 8:00pm show.

See you all soon

Just to give you a sense of better timing, the m/g numbers have been large. 90 or so in Des Moines and I heard 70+ elsewhere and were set up  in queues alphabetically with roped lines formed a la airport security lines. If you are an a, early out, otherwise...

Pearl Street is perfect, and you don't even have to walk. We have a metro that runs all along Main Street that is free between Shea's (Theater District) and Pearl. I will probably be heading up there for dinner before the show. See you at the M&G!

Wow last April I think there was 20 of us.

Times have changed

along with the street team members/guest there would contest winners and such.
we'll see tomorrow but you're probably right.

With all of the JB Gibsons and Epiphones out there, plus the Lithographs that J&R have been cranking out, along with Street Teamers and VIPs I can understand the M&G situation.

The price of success.

Thanks Joe for still taking the time to meet with us!

Major Tom to ground control...
