Topic: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

So who's gonna be there next Saturday??
I'll be there with my daughter (24). We're sitting in section 102, I think it's row 24.
I'll probably be wearing JB street team regalia. She'll be on crutches (which is why we're sitting). I'd love to meet some of the Bonamassa fans that frequent this site.

Re: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

I'll be there with my girlfriend Renee. We've got GA so we'll be on the field somewhere, hopefully up front.
On Friday, we may hit the Crossroads pre-party at the Hilton, which is open to EC Fan Club members. I understand the Hilton is really close to Buddy Guy's Legends. Later that night we may try to catch Walter Trout at the HOB, but we'll keep our options open just in case some of the festival performers show up at Legends or elsewhere.

Re: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

I was thinking I'll bring a BIG sign to the show that says "Where's Bonamassa"? and hold it up between acts.

Re: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

Hey Bill, i'll be there with a group of friends. I'll make a note of your location and stop by during the day and say hello. I think we'll be heading to Kingston Mines friday night for Anthony Gomes. The Mines is a partying place too, and we are hoping for some special guests also. Legends will be the place to be, but I would imagine it's going to be sold out real fast. I saw Buddy Guy Wed. night here and he said the same thing about looking forward to Crossroads and jammin' away. See you there,  Larry G

Re: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

Hey guys, have a total blast at Crossroads!!!!  Hope you posters on the board all get a chance to meet up and hang out at some point during the weekend.   Enjoy all the rockin' blues and the incredible musicians that will be performing.  Travel safely.....

Re: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

Wow, it's here already! Kellie and I are in 120? I think (had her keep the tickets cause I lose everything!). Bill, bring extra signs and I'll represent in my section. What's the weather forecast?....Not going to the EC Access party as Kellie is not a member and we're celebrating her birthday. Sonny Landreth on Thursday (she's a Krewe member) and Walter on Friday along with forum friends. I'm going to see if I can get the picture of the cover to "Sloe Gin" made into an iron-on for the back of my shirt. Not the Street Team one but the est. in...it fits my "girlie" body (lol) better.....Cathy..My cell#443-752-1464

Re: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

Wow, I'm starting to get excited about this show! Planning on trying to arrive about 10:30AM, in seats by no later than 11AM. Let's see...JB fans represented in sections 102 (Me), 111, 123 (David A & friends), 120 (Cathy & Kellie), & GA (Lee, Tarus52 & Larry). May be tough to see the GA people...I'm sure you'll want to grab a good spot and stay put. I've listened to Jeff Beck and Robert Cray tonight, getting ready for Saturday!

"Dearest fans,

For those of you that live in Chicago there is a rumor going around that Eric is playing Buddy Guy's Legends club tonight.  This is completely NOT TRUE.

Eric is not playing at Buddy Guy's club in Chicago tonight or any other night.  There is absolutely no truth to the rumor.

What is true is that he's playing Crossroads Guitar Festival this Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Chicago's Toyota Park! "

Re: Roll call for JB Fans at Crossroads??

Made it Chicago from Charlotte via Pittsburgh with no problems.  Checked out the venue today, looks nice and plenty of parking.  Going downtown tomorrow to check out the city.  Planned to meet up with some forum friends at the House of Blues to see Walter Trout.  Wish you guys were here, esp. Joe!!!
