Topic: jb gold top aged maybe for sale!!!

am thinking of selling the jb gold top aged  and have the seymour duncan pickups in aswell set number(8) !
feel i need to move on with the whole signature thing, seen some nice 58 ri aged around or a 59 ri!!!!!
iv enjoyed it but i don't feel totally myself i need to find my own identity , also the fact joes not really using them tells me that just because you own a signature jb doesn't me your gonna sound like him!!   how much is it worth??  any one interested from the uk???

you would probably fetch around 3-3.5k for it

Jonny - I assume you mean UK Pounds Sterling? Which works out to about right.

From the other thread on here, it appears that the book value on the original Gold Tops is around USD$4.6K, and I have seen them for sale in UK/Europe for around $5K - because I assume they are harder to find there?

BTW - I believe Joe still uses his Prototype Gold Top #1 (with the Bigsby) on stage these days...

Call it a gut feeling but if you can I suggest you try to keep it. This is coming from someone that may pounce on this but real you should try to keep it. Just my two cents.
