Silver Jubs and a Bluesbreaker as I remember...he had Buddas around that time too.
That also happens to be my favourite bass sound throughout Joe's band history...Eric has superior low end on that recording and sounds superb on Starship Trooper/Wurm with the flange effect.

Ah cool!! Awesome sounds all round!! Don't like how Eric runs effects pretty well all the time... And he also uses the higher frets and thinners strings heaps!! But somehow it works!!
I think in the video he used a Line 6 and a Bluesbreaker.

He used to use it, not sure if he still does. It was for Pain and Sorrow many many albums ago. There is an effects demo where he shows it towards the end:
I'm talking about amps.... he surely didn't use a line 6 amp.... i know their dl-4 is a good pedal...
Someone said he used it as a clean tone. But I also remember him giving us advice saying if it has the word modeling in it avoid it. Money when he was struggling starving artist no matter how good might have been a requirement back in 2005. He's big time now.

He has such a large collection of gear now though... surely he would have had some of it back then... although he was in europe... and transporting rigs internationally is quite the cost....
But if someone was to give you gear and say Here play this and I'll give you $100 a gig for it. Would you not use it for a song or 2???

That's true.... But the recording we're hearing probably hasn't got any line 6 tone in their whatsoever... All I can see on stage is a Bluesbreaker..... Not sure if he did have a jub up there like some people believe....
I think all I ever remember seeing in the video was 2 marshall blues breakers. Nothing else. I don't think he was using the Jub. in the UK only in the states.
In the credits of the dvd it says he used a Bluesbreaker and a Budda Superdrive 45.
