In my several years of membership on this forum I have always enjoyed reading Jane H.'s posts. I have slowly realized (or appreciated) that she always has the coolest avatars as well. She seems to have stepped it up since the recent forum upgrade. Keep it up Jane!
Her avatars are like weather in some parts, if you don't like what you see, give it a minute (sometimes). She does have one heckuva rotation. 
I agree with you guys! She's cornered the market on them!! I'm lucky if I can get one to post. I try and try with different pics and they say they are too large...don't have a clue how to make smaller, so any I put up are just a lucky try. Maybe Jane could write a tutorial on The Fine Art of Avatars! Keep 'em comin' Jane!!! Luv u!

I went forever without using an avatar, not because I didn't know how to do it, but because I never wanted to take 5 minutes to do it.
As often as Jane changes avatars, she finally shamed me into adding one. Hers are definitely the coolest!

I agreeJane has always had the best avatars.I recall giving some props but then poof they are gone.What I would love to see if there was a way to have all of her avatars posted in a pic or slideshow!That would be cool!
I was also inspired by Jane H's avatars, to take the time to resize a cell-phone pic I grabbed of the Chicago Theatre marquee last October. I cut it to fit the noted size limitations, but still cuts off the right side, where the sold out indicator is. It did "fix" itself, when I swapped over to the Happy Birthday pic, but now it's back to being cut off. The joys of forum software....
Resizing in Paint is pretty easy, patty. And Paint is already on most windows systems, and let's you resize to exact pixel requirements, which usually means you'll meet the file size limits, as well. There are other freeware tools out there, too.
You must have read my mind, Sista Jane has been changing them with the coolest rotation that I've ever seen....it's like this, she has this mind that most peeps cant comprehend....you would probably have to have been born on the same day to understand her genious....and that's all I got to say bout that

Jane's avatars are I really like all the players using pics of their guitars great way to share with everyone Pete's originals are awesome too, keep 'em coming And Gary that guitar playing gorilla cracks me up everytime
How long mut it take to search for cool avatars. Mine just scares old people and children. Pete the cabbys is also superb.
I learnt how to post animated avatars from our queen. Always very cool !
Jane is without doubt our avatar queen! I admire people who can be bothered to make the effort to switch avatars frequently, an effort that I can't be bothered to make.
Surprised that no one has yet commented that this topic belongs in Off. 
Jane always has great avatars & switches them up frequently, I don't know where she finds them all.
I'm sticking with mine. Or I'll miss my own posts in the forum and have no idea what I've been talking about.
Jane has given many a few laughs as well as whats??? This made me think of Garth. 
I think he had the first animated one I'd ever seen. I just learned how to post one, so all the cyberbrains impress me. Cathy
