Topic: Hartford

OK those in NY, Ct and Mass area ( as well as those from RI that may not be going to PPAC to see Joe:
Time to start talking about the pre show festivities. Black Eyed Sallys downtown ( the only Blues Club in the city) is being designated the unofficial meeting place before the show. It is the other side of Bushnell Park - 5-10 min walk to the Bushnell Theatre. Attending meet and greet but most of our contingent of 20 will be at Black Eyed Sallys between 5-6.
Getting close to a sell out in Hartford - working hard to make it happen so we are in the tour list again.
Ck in when you can if you ar looking for a place to hang pre show.

Hey out there..You tell me there are no forum members that are visiting the beautiful Bushnell Theatre? Located in the Insurance capital of the world (used to be any way). Last time I checked there were very few seats left. Come on...you can admitt you are going to Hartford...no one will hold it against you!

I was one of those thanked for risking life & limb roll to come out to watch Joe in Hartford before!

I think that show was my son's bonabaptism.  He was seriously happy he had an intact car after the show.  I remember at the time asking him why he was driving so far to see a guitar player I had never heard of.  LOL

Nice to see some of the Hartford fans checking in. Black Eyed Sallys it is - one block north of Bushnell Park just west of the civic center. We hope to have the large table near the window. If I can smuggle a JB banner in there I will.
Blessed with meeting Joe before the show - should be there about 5:30. FYI - If you are into ribs Black Eyed's will please - for those thinking of chowing before hand.

Rocket - Are you serious about Hartford? I would go buy me a red carpet for ya if you could make it.

How's everyone doing? Will be there! Black Eyed Sally's for dinner and possibly after Joe's show. Sugar Ray Norcia playing there, with his band The Bluetone's. Very good band with "Monster" Mike welch on guitar. Could be a total evening of Blues, Rock and great Harp!

The Step - Sugar Ray & Monster Mike - a true bonus to the Joe evening! We have 20 in our posse - I am sure some of us are heading to Sallys after. Going to M & G and have my Epi signed prior.  Drewswanson - we are sitting row a orchestra pit dead center - the best seats I will ever have for any show. Pure luck - 3 phones the second the tics went on sale. I could have very easlly ended up 10 rows back. Maybe due to the fact this is my hometown has something to do with it - for all the $ I have spent at the Bushnell in the last 30 yrs. See you at Sallys!
