Re: BLUES

Great video Deezer of Muddy 47 years ago!  That video works good for me for two reasons, we saw him play in Atlanta back in the 70's and being the great Chicago Blues player that he is helps me get ready for Crossroads in Chi town.

Music is good for the Soul...

Re: BLUES

Here's another, from someone a bit more obscure. The great Magic Sam, using a guitar that apparently belongs to Earl Hooker. If you haven't picked up his classic "West Side Soul," I suggest you do it.

I'm partial to "Black Magic" over "West Side Soul," but Magic Sam was definitely a great talent gone too soon.  He had a great voice and tons of soul.

Re: BLUES

That's a good one too. Shoot, after those you're almost there as far as all of Sam's recorded material. Definitely tragic.

Priceless, just love the way Muddy carries that off, such a class act!

Now, here is one from my absolutely favorite postwar bluesman of all-time. Chester Arthur "Howlin' Wolf" Burnett.
