Topic: Whirlwind Selector

It seems that the Whirlwind A/B/Y selector is the weapon of choice for playing into multiple amp setups for JB fans... I picked up a 2nd hand one last week on the cheap. Should be arriving sometime over the next fortnight?

My query is - has anyone had any issues with Ground Loops when running into 2 amps? Or does the Selector have transformer isolated outputs? If someone could open the back of their switcher up and post some gut shots, that would be awesome!

Re: Whirlwind Selector

Did anyone manage to take a quick peek for me...?

Thanks in advance! wink

Re: Whirlwind Selector

Use a Lehle Dual. Isolated transformers=no ground loops.

Re: Whirlwind Selector

Yep - a little pricy though....?

Burkhard sells a P-Split II which will isolate your signal (cheaper than his Dual).
