Topic: New Rig Help.

I've just signed new endorsement with Blackstar Amps, and get my new HT Stage 60 and extension cab in 2 weeks...so I thought while I'm at it I'll sort my rig out...even though I've been playing guitar for 18 years...I'm terrible with the tech side sad never used pedals etc before forming Snakewater, always played dry...anyhow, can anyone advise me the correct chain in which I should run my pedals..and which ones to run through the loop on the amp (if needed)...
My basic rig consists of....

Jim Dunlop Wah
Ibanez Tubescreamer
Boss Tuner
Boss Super Chorus
And just bought a Boss DD3 delay.

Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers
Bobby

Just mess around with it until you like it

Generally you want to put the delay through the loop

Re: New Rig Help.

I've had problems in the past with interference / noises when linked up in a particular order...also my Wah seems to have a mind of its own when it decides to actually work fully...at lower volumes I don't get the Wah to work proper...any ideas?

Re: New Rig Help.

All In Front: Wah-Screamer-Chorus-Delay-Tuner.
OR
In Front: Wah-Screamer-Tuner. LOOP: Chorus-Delay

Played a Blackstar once, nice but super thick sound even with the gain dialed back. Sounded good with the Tube Screamer but I had to really cut back on the Gain knob on it. Mellowed out nicely.

Re: New Rig Help.

Blackstars have good reverb too ironically. Good american and british sound out of the HT40 I played through.

I would try Guitra -> WAH - Screamer - tuner -> amp
and run chorus and delay in your effects loop.
You might get a different sound swapping the order of your chorus and delay in the loop. Feel free to play with it as the others have said. PLAY TIME! cool

Thanks for advice guys :-)

I'm endorsed byMarshall for past 18 months, and Blackstar is basically Marshall...there chief directors and technicians are ex Marshall staff...I've played a few and love em.
