Topic: Eleven Rack

Has anybody got any experience with these?  I simply can't play loud at my house due to small children and a wife that hates loud noises.  I've been playing a line 6 spider 15 for a month now going into a mixing board.  That method is working but pedals are less then useless on that amp.  So I'm wanting to get a few different overdriven tones as well as effects to make going into a mixing board fun.  If I play out I was thinking that all I would need is a cab and an output amp to drive the cab.  I know people on here are more about tube amps and all but I want something thats got alot of useful features that can do better the 70% of the sound they are trying to emulate.  Line 6 does lots of stuff but I feel like they only get you 70% there multiple amps, and does great for effects.

Re: Eleven Rack

I thought about one of these but when I compared it to the line6 hd500 the 500 won out.  I am a "play at home dad" myself so there are times when I can't turn the amps on and the line6 stuff, to me, is hard to beat.  Just my 2 cents....

Cost wise it didn't makes sense for me to buy the eleven rack and some sort of foot controller when I can get it all in one unit with the line6.

Re: Eleven Rack

So what makes the HD500 better then the 300?  More effects???  I'm tempted if I went the line 6 rout just to go ahead and buy a pod.  I'm not looking for foot pedals and quick changes I'm just looking for some good tones that wont wake the youngins.
