Topic: Seagull ?

Don't know if this has been discussed before, but does anyone know if the song Seagull on the upcoming Sloe Gin is a cover of the Bad Co. version ? Just wondering I think a Joe version would be awesome !                    Paul

Re: Seagull ?

It has been described as "Paul Rodger's Seagull", so yes I think it is. smile

Re: Seagull ?

Yes it most definitely is, and in my opinion Joe's version is even better than Bad Company's. No small feat, as the original is fantastic. One of the many highlights on this album. The vocals rival Paul Rodgers', and as Paul is one of the best in the biz, you know they're excellent.

Where did you hear Joe's version?
Danny

Re: Seagull ?

Wow that song should be awesome played by Joe  ...and ya where'd you hear it Keith did he play it live?             Paul

Re: Seagull ?

Joe has played it live once that I know of. He did an acoustic version. I think you can download it off of Dime.
He played it at an acoustic festival in OK called Acousticadia.

I heard the new version on the album is not just acoustic.

Re: Seagull ?

The version I'm referring to is the album version(studio). Full review of the entire album coming shortly....

In a nutshell, Joe's best yet in my opinion, and to use an oxymoron, can you say "instant classic"?

Cheers!
