Just got a msg from Tx Sommelier and she and Sully are both safe and hunkered down in buildings they are both working @ today. No internet, but phone service is functioning.

Re: Texas Twisters

very good news that they are safe. I was watching on the radar when it was first reported, there were 3 separate areas of rotation moving closely together through the Dallas / Ft Worth area. Two apparently made it to ground. Glad as well that Mike and his wife were not there already.

Re: Texas Twisters

I am home and we did a check of the house. No Damage!

I got to spend 2 hours in a conference room waiting out the tornados with some of my co-workers (that I like) and text J Dawg, my husband, and other family and friends...PLUS! I got tickets to Joe's show in Dallas...
Not a bad afternoon...

I am a blessed lady.

Thanks for thinking of me Y'all!

I was thinking of you Rockfarmer (you too Tx Sommelier) today when I heard about these twisters. I didn't know if you had already made your move or not. I'm glad everyone is safe and sound.

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Re: Texas Twisters

How weird someone would mention twisters.....the county of Sacramento are demolishing buildings all over this old Airforce base that is my route, I was talking to one of the Sac Sheriff helicopters pilots and said it looked like a giant twister had hit the base.....what an eerie feeling....brought back memories of the F-5 that hit Okie City about 12 years ago, I've never gotten over that....frightening!

Glad to hear everyone is okay.  This has been such a weird year weather wise.

Haven't moved yet, but I am in Texas.  Luckily, I'm about 4.5 hours south of Dallas at one of our Plants.  I didn't hear about the storms until late yesterday afternoon.  Welcome to Tornado Alley...I guess.

Re: Texas Twisters

My god look out!!!....there are some real ugly storms brewing over tornado alley.....prayers out for all of you living in that region.....I have family there myself, so it's personal
