Topic: Complimenting a Twin Reverb

I'm starting to poke around for another amp to compliment my Twin Reverb. I recognize ones ears are personal, but help narrowing it down would be appreciated. JB's use of multiple amps all with their own job to do is the idea. Preferably something obtainable in Canada. Budget not a big issue. If it helps I've got a 56 LP w/ P90s, 57 LP which will sport the new SD JB pups when they arrive, a 59 LP with humbuckers, an ES345 and an EC Strat.

Any pointers are much appreciated.

Joe just stated this on March 21 -2012 when someone asked about the cheapest way to get Joe's sound.

Heres a neat way to get close...
     A twin and a tubescreamer  run with a DSL-2000 on the crunch channel..  Avoid speakers that collapse or are two low wattage.   That'll get you close..

You may look into a Catagory 5 JB Jubilee combo. They are a rebuild of a silver jubilee but with more control ove the ryh channel. I think they sound better. Contact Don Ritter at Catagory 5 tell him Ron sent you. They do not appear on their Web site yet I think.
