Topic: pedalboard

I know that this has been talked about before.  I think I probably brought it up before too.  But, I am in need of some good advice on a pedalboard.  I've tried some cheap ones but they don't work well before they die. Is it best to build my own and just get a power supply?  Tired of going through 9v batteries!

Any advice??

Re: pedalboard

First of all, YES get a power supply. Anything with isolated outputs. Voodoo Lab is the way to go. And having a nice pedalboard is so much better than having junk. SKB makes powered ones, I have no experience with them, but I find them to be bulky. Pedaltrain makes decent ones, pretty popular. I have one, but what I've found works best for me is in the link below. I've had many boards, flat ones..big ones, small ones, this one is my favorite. Lid lifts up and can put your voodoo lab PP2 underneath, plus some cables. Good luck! -Seth

Re: pedalboard

get a pedal power2+ or a Cioks. I still like crappy zinc batteries for fuzz pedals.

Re: pedalboard

Check out the G-Labs power supply... I've seen Bonamassa use them before I think? I'm also endorsed by them and use a load of there gear but I must say their stuff is top notch!

Re: pedalboard

Thanks for the help!  I'll do some looking around.  I'm thinking about just building my own somehow and buying a power supply.
