If you didn't get a reply to any email sending me your address or saying you didn't need a receipt, it means I did not recieve it. One of you I have attempted to contact all sorts of ways without any reply so I dunno but hopefully everyone knows their donation was greatly appreciated and acknowledged.
So what I did was directly donated to one of the four orgs in the name of those who gave me an address for reciept. The remainder was divided up between paying for the flowers and donation to the orgs. If there are any questions please let me know.
it was my pleasure to assist in this and sorry it took longer than I planned to complete.
As a group we sent a lovely flower arrangement and also donated in Derek's name
$135 to Bring Change 2 Mind
$175 to Brain Injury Association of America
$175 to Stop Hunger Now
and $200 to the St. Jude's Children Research hospital
as mentioned previously there were also donations from family etc. to other orgs Derek felt important so while he is no longer on this Earth, his memory is creating much good for many, including my spirit.
Thanks everyone and keep the Faith!
Thanks with hugs and kisses, Jane! Muh!
I personally donated to the San Diego Children's Hospital and the San Diego Ronald McDonald House. Derek Duane Revette was born in the Sharp Hospital "in the neighborhood" (these facilities are all in the same area of San Diego, basically you can draw a triangle between them that has no side longer than a few hundred feet between each other) Christmas Day, 1979. back "in the day", you did not get dropped cell phone calls. You got tangled and jammed phone lines such that I could not even get the word of his birth out to family despite trying a thousand times, until later on. Got to the wife's family, sandman tossing chunks at me, and she had beat me to it from a hospital bed!!! C'est la vie!!! I used to drive taxicab in this chitty-chitty bang-bang town, and had much public interfacing with the people and children from these places. I could not help but be greatly moved to empathize with all people's plights, futures, and struggles.
Again, loving thanks and gratitude to have known and to know love lives in spirit forever. You are all some fine, fine, fine family friends!
Rock ON & Keep that Non-impervious Faith,
Rocket
