Jeff,
Report in the Chicago Sun-Times today says the owner told a long time season ticket holder that if they wouldn't have found a trade, they were going to waive Marshall anyway.
Anyway, he is re-united with Jay Cutler...we'll see if that works or if he'll punch anyone else in the face (I know...allegedly)

My 49ers signed Brandon Jacobs today, the last time I seen him run, he had NOTHING left in the tank!!.....short burst, and goal line plunges is what I envision for BJ....

I'm not stupid, I understand the motivation behind many football coaches....BUT!....Gregg Williams needs an attitude adjustment, I'm not down with his speach before my 49ers played the Saints in the playoffs last year.....head shots, ACLs, etc on players he called out by name is not cool....hmm.....I hope some of the Saints players are not punished for his ignorance, and I dont meen a suspension or fine, I'm talking about "what goes around, comes around".....if you know what I'm sayin

funny how off season crap affects Vegas betting lines. I'm on this site almost every day, not because I bet a lot but they have all the lines listed and in-depth analysis on the trends, and then the articles like this one.

That is a good one Tres. IDK much, but hand Brees the ball and tell him to light it up. Doesn't take much of a defense to keep the 'Skins under 30. That early O/U line is telling.
Chargers predictions are 11-5 by the pundits. Tough schedule but doable IMO.

Since it's only a couple of days till the draft, though the top two picks have been known for ages, I thought it was time to revive this topic and share the following..
Guys, I know that some of you here know a fair bit about the NFL (in the broadest sense), and some of you think that you know a fair bit. 
Here is a link to another forum I write on - a cycling forum, that happens to have two posters who know more about the NFL than all of us here put together ever knew! A lot of their stuff makes fascinating reading, especially Foxxy's input, and there are tons of links to very specialized reading with lots about other draft picks. btw, Foxxy is a German! Alpe and 3man are both from the Pacific northwest. Scroll back a number of pages there and just check the awesome level of knowledge of these guys, as well as their memories!
