New Bonamassa fan here.. saw him live and was just blown away. Definitely my favourite guitar player right now! I'm a session guitar player for a living and not gonna lie, I'm here mainly to steal some tone tips from you guys :-) The FOH mix and Joe's tone was the best I've ever heard period.
Welcome! You're not wrong about the tone, that's what grabbed most of us. If you're here just to steal tips, you'll want to be residing one forum down in the Gear section. 
Welcome Nabs. Amsterhammer is correct. All the gear info is there to see. Check the stickys, years of info there. Just one caveat, it is in his hands and you'll get close with the gear, but the rest is in 'your' hands. Good luck in the chase, you'll be in good company over on that section.
