Topic: Hello from MD

Hello - Glad to be joining the forums. I live in MD outside of DC. I've been playing for a while but eager to learn more. About 4 years ago, I decided to really try to improve my skills. The blues/rock genre is my favorite and few (if any) can beat JB.... so here I am. I am pretty busy with work and family, but will try to get here often....unless I'm playing guitar! smile

Hi and welcome, that 'work' thing as well as lack of time to play affects us all. Having a wife with sensetive hearing does too. Enjoy trhe forum and take part regularly.

Welcome from the forum's honorary Marylander, I expect that some of the real ones will be along soon. big_smile

We have a remarkable number of members from the greater Md./Va./DC area, as you will find out if you stick around and intend to catch any local shows. In the meantime, don't be shy to post, just jump right in. wink

Gee, that's a tricky one. I live in Amsterdam, but I am American and come to the US at least once a year - when I do, I come to Maryland, in the middle of the woods north of Bel Air, where the forum's only self-confessed witch lives. I also lived in DC and suburbs for a while when I was a kid, a long, long time ago, so I do have a Maryland connection even apart from the witch. wink
