Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone... :)

A very pleasant thought on this day Curby, thank you for sharing it! And who knows, maybe your Mom and mine are sharing a drink while we type this? However, my Mom Jo (Actually Josephine, but no one called her that, just Jo or Josa with a Slovenian accent. ) much preferred a Brandy Manhattan. My Dad would make them one each night after he got home from work. They sat in kitchen at the dinner table to discuss what happened in their days, the kitchen door was closed and the kids were banned from entering for at least half an hour. Ahhh, the good times and memories...

The nearest we have to Irish forebears is a line of hated Scotch-Irish opressors imported by the English to beat down the Celts. We are still cooking up a traditional meal and watching a distinctly Irish weather system roll through. Wet and cold. Cheers to all.
