Anyone been following jimmypage.com? The "on this day" segments are pretty interesting. Check out today's for an old pre-Zep Dazed & Confused. I had never seen that Yardbirds version, true vintage!

Yep the old black & white Zep stuff is uper cool too.....I need to go back on there more often...it's been a while for me.
As a hardcore fan, I have been sorely disappointed.
99% of these facts are well known to those who know Page and Zeppelin well - but the real grinds my gears bit is that many facts (dates, places, peoples names) have been wrong.
I know it is not Page writing this...but damn...even his $1000 book had dates wrong in it...
New music, please.

If true I would think Page should intervene to get the facts straight. Sounds like half-assed production.

Ok Dave,I have to ask about the 1000 dollar book. Can you share with the class about it?
Make that $2000 now.
I do not own one - for good reason.
I have had a good read through one.
We were promised super rare, exclusive photos from Page's personal collection, plus a request was sent out to anyone that might have had rare photos from the Zeppelin days which had not seen the light of day. The best ones were chosen...
99% in this book of which I'd seen or have. The rest you can now see on the web from scans or photos of the book. We won't even get into the wrong information.
It is a fairly well made book for your coffee table. Worth about $200 max.

Thanks for the info Dave. That price tag is a bit much. But if someone will pay it.......
I have the non-deluxe edition, yes it was underwhelming. Many pictures were already available. Will probably sell mine. You can get the non-deluxe for about a grand. Much more, if you're willing to pay, for the deluxe.
