Topic: Joe's black EC signature strat

Hi!

I could not find the answer in other topics so i post it here...

I was wondering what electronics Joe was using in his Eric Clapton strat he used on the A new day yesterday dvd.

I thought the strat was from 1996 and there were Lace Sensor golds in it... But did he use the mid boost as well?

Thanks!

Bart

From what I remember they were lace sensor with mid boost. I believe whatever was stock in that model.

.
Clapton Model had a boost in it.....as well as the 35th anniversary Strat model
( 1989 with flame maple...500 made )..although the '89 model had silver lace ones I think...instead of the gold lace ones

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Thanks alot! But why did Joe have a tremolo in that guitar?? It's a Eric Clapton signature strat with blocked trem right? Did he unblock it?

I have a Custom Shop Clapton and it's just a wood block (oak I think) that is used to restrict the movement of the trem.  Just reach in, pull it out and screw in your bar and you're ready to go...that easy.

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
