I've got my ticket for the Borderline, London and it's on my birthday. Pretty good eh? Fancy the Paradiso being sold out! Seems the word is getting around about JJ Grey and his wonderful music. Have a good time on the 15th.

From what I've heard, the Borderline gig with Marcus Bonfanti is unaffected (as are the European dates),  so enjoy if you're heading for that one. Apparently there's a handful of UK dates to be announced for late May. Here's hoping there'll be one round here as I was kind of tempted by the Newcastle date.

Borderline gig is definately ON with Marcus as support, I have heard that JJ's reason for not doing the tour are  due to the 'logistics' at this time. Very strong rumour is that JJ Grey will be over around the mid to end of May.

Jack Bruce tour will not be having support act on this tour as far as I know.

MARCH 16 AMSTERDAM SHOW HAS CHANGED VENUES

Due to popular demand, JJ Grey & Mofro have moved their Amsterdam show from Paradiso to a larger venue: Bitterzoet.

That's good news for JJ Grey & Mofro - they are such a good band and deserve to be popular. I see also that the London show @ The Borderline is sold out  (got my ticket though smile  )

JJ Grey & Mofro are back in London on 29th June at the 100 Club as part of Bluesfest 2012. Tickets go on sale tomorrow but Live Nation already started their pre-sale (and I just bought my ticket smile  )

I love JJ Grey&Mofro´s CDs, so I was excited that they came to Nürnberg last monday. It was not at all a bad show (good songs, good voice, good harp, good horn section), but measured by my expectations it was a disappointment. First of all it was a terrible sound (in all parts of the venue) and most of all: as you can guess already from their CDs they don´t have a really good guitar player. And guitar-wise I´m very spoilt, as you might know.

i didnt know this band at all...................................but i agree with günter..................and its surly a band i dont want to see a second time. one of the worst guitarists i have ever seen and their whole music style is not my cup of coffee.

I had my fun!
On a scale of 10 sound got 6-7 but in this venue I never experienced perfect sound, no matter who played there.
In the beginning I wasn't really convinced of JJ Grey's voice but that could be due to the sound at the venue. It got better during the concert. I won't rate the gig my No 1 in March but I can't say that they were as bad as you described them or that I was disappointed.
It was a good concert and the crowd was very supportive.
A number of people put out their dancing shoes and danced to the funky sounds. It was groovy.
Was quite happy when I drove home.

Will be interesting to hear what you guys and gals from UK are thinking about JJ Grey & Mofro live.

Ai, I doubt if this a wise decision...
After all Paradiso is the legendary Paradiso!!!
If I had bought a ticket I really would be pissed.

Last year Adele sold out Paradiso within half an hour, that didn't make her change the venue. She showed Paradiso the respect it deserves!
