Topic: From a misty South Wales

Evening all. Thanks for having me. Since I only know a handful of people who are Joe fans, I thought here would be a good place to join in with like-minded others. I discovered Joe in 2006 and haven't strayed very far; I have every release and am always keen to see the latest interview or article. I saw Joe live in Cardiff for the first time in October 2011 and I was spell-bound from the first song to the last; and it was great to see someone genuinely appreciative of his deserved success.

I play guitar in a covers band that takes in a lot of Joe's influences and I am working on getting a Bonamassa song or two into the set (albeit with my comparatively pale effort).

I have the cutest 3-year-old daughter who went to her first dance class on the weekend. When asked what music they liked, most of the girls went for JLS or Jessie J....my little one replied proudly....'I like Joe Bon-a-massa'. She's a big fan, what can I say? She made JB a card last week because she heard him sing 'I'm sick' in Sloe Gin; I've had a job to convince her he's OK now. The next generation of Bonamassa fans is in safe hands.

Lovely introduction, HD (I'm into abbreviations), welcome. I have no doubt that you'll fit right in. You are among kindred souls. wink

When my son was three, Joe was two...so I got him into West Ham. Your little girl doesn't know yet how lucky she is. big_smile

RIP Iron Man

Rock On and keep the Faith

I was born in '77 and my dad brought me up on a strict diet of Knopfler, Quo, Queen, Swansea City FC and much else that gave me a good start in life smile

Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome Hollie's Dad from a fellow South Walian! Apart from Cardiff losing to Liverpool, it was a pretty good week-end if you're Welsh !!!
