Topic: Truss Rod Covers

Hello everyone,

I just bought an Epi JB Les Paul.  I was wondering about the truss rod cover.  I know that the Gibson's have the autograph JB cover.  Is there anyway to get one of those to put on my Epiphone?

Also, I think it would be really cool to have a JB Autographed decal (sticker) at the head of the guitar case.  I would like to have his actual signature there, but, don't know when I will get to a show.

thanks!

Re: Truss Rod Covers

There is a guy on eBay selling covers for both Gibson and Epiphone Les Pauls.  Joe's signature was one of the designs (replica of the JB Studio truss rod cover).  I bought one for a JB collage my kids made for me.   Superb quality.

Other designs and artists were also available.  I bought an Alex Lifeson for my LP Standard.

If he is not showing the JB for the Epi send him a message.  I'm sure he will do one for you.

Re: Truss Rod Covers

Just make sure you get the epiphone shape so you can screw it down.  Gibson will only work at the top of the cover, the bottom hole lines up over a gap where the truss rod is located on a epiphone.  They use 3 screws to hold it down on them.
