Topic: Bonaburst Owner Question

Yes, I've looked, but not seen the answer to the following:

Is the Bonaburst closest to an R8, or R9, or R0?

And, whichever it's closest to - just how far off of that is it?!

I'd say its closer to the current R9's since the new Bonabursts have flame tops. Neck shape is slightly smaller than most R8's

Its really between an R-8 and R-9....  The neck shape and top carve were modeled after a old R-8...  Aka the iced tea with the Bigsby...( the one on the truck) ..  I haven't played the new flametops yet... I am curious to see what they are like..   All good reviews from my pals that bought them..

I was going to chime in as a Bonaburst owner myself but since Joe has already done so I'll just say +1 on the plaintop version.

Also interested in hearing what the new flame tops are like.
