Topic: Hello from Merseyside

I'm glad to see there are quite a few fans from the Northwest - Liverpool will give Joe a very, very warm welcome. I'm really pleased that he's coming to our part of the world.

I'm a relatively new convert to his music, but I'm now passionate about his music. I'll be sixty this year, and as one of the very early 'rock-chicks', I'd despaired of finding a blues/rock guitarist that could take up the mantle of all my heroes - until I heard Joe Bonamassa. I was stunned by his music, absolutley stunned - and also stunned that I had been unaware of his existance. As there seemed to be so much dross about these days, I'd just been keeping to all my 'old' heroes. Now a whole new world of Joe Bonamassa music has opened up to me - and I'm loving it. It's like coming home, only somehow better.

I hope everyone going to one of his concerts enjoys the evening as much as I know I'm going to enjoy seeing him in Liverpool.

Best wishes to all,  Sue x

Re: Hello from Merseyside

Welcome, Sue! There are quite a few of us of your generation here and most of us went through the same feelings when we discovered Joe - you should feel right at home. We also have another Sue from Liverpool. wink

Don't be a lurker, just dive right in, we don't bite!

RIP Iron Man

Rock On and keep the Faith

You summed it up quite well, I feel the same way. Welcome, Sue!
