Topic: New Bonaburst at Wildwood

So it appears that another burst plaintop has surfaced at Wildwood and it's number 123... Does anyone know how many of these are actually going to be made? I bought mine a year ago under the impression that supply was somewhat limited.

Well, 123 incarnations of a $3900 guitar seems pretty "limited" to me...   wink

At that kind of price, with that kind of quality, it seems unlikely there will ever be a glut of them on the market...

I saw that as well.  It's a really nice looking plaintop.  I also noticed that it was over 9lbs.  Mine is just under 8.5.  Not that it's too big of a deal.

I originally thought that there were 75 of the plaintop Bonaburst guitars but that number might be a little fluid.  Now with the addition of the flamey Bonaburst guitars I'm not sure how to count them.

Are all Bonabursts the same?
Or separate categories like flamed and plaintop?

Does it really matter?

Probably not, they're great guitars and they haven't been made in great numbers.
