Topic: Joe want a 1971-1973 Fuzz Face?

Hi Joe
Ron here from Pelham. I happened to stop by my parents this weekend and my mother said" I found this in your closet under boxes do you want it". To my amazement looking up at me was this red and rather beaten face smiling at me. It was the Fuzz face I used during 1971-1979 playing up and down the north shore of New England. Man what a burst of memories that came back, all the great times out with the band. Anyway I got home and plugged it in and it still worked. I do need to clean the jack contacts but hey after about 40 years not bad. It has BC108C transistors. All original including the masking tape holding the wires. As you can tell it is beat and well used. Still has my name tag I put on it so many years ago, Anyway I was wondering if you would like to have it. I would love to see what you can do with this. If you would like it I can bring it when I see you at the meet and greet at RI or at Hampton Beach Casino. Well good luck on your upcoming tour have a blast.

Hey Ron...  Yeah Bring it down for soundcheck we will hook it up in the big rig and see how its faired over these past years..!!!  How cool!!

Early 70's Fuzz Face?  That definitely beats my 1981 MIJ Boss DS-1... big_smile
