Topic: They call it Parahawking

Cool video I found.

This is just off the cliffs at Torrey Pines.  Just north of were RickB lives.

That golf course is a customer of mine.  Torrey Pines.  We do their bunker sands and their putting surfaces.  It's actually a public course.  The U.S. Open was there in 2008

That is really cool Mike. Below the cliffs at the south end is a nude beach as well. A bit off topic but one more glimpse of scenic San Diego. Further off is that native Phil Mickleson has volunteered to redesign one of the courses.

That was awesome!

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Re: They call it Parahawking

Pretty cool.  I love hawks.  Had a chance to raise one when I was younger.  Beautiful and proud birds.

Re: They call it Parahawking

The hawks are obviously trained to interact with the parasailers, still cool. There's 2 area's where people parasail here in Benicia and Vallejo up against sharp hillsides with steady breezes off the bay.

Hey Mike, why don't you get your customer to reserve us a tee time and the You, Rick and I can shoot 18 and then hop on over to the nude beach afterwards. I hear they've got a great Happy Hour at the bar right off the sand! wink
