Re: What was your 1st good guitar

A Rossetti Airstream 3 strat style with three humbuckers in a dark red/black sunburst. Wish I still had it. Very rare and heavy.

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Re: What was your 1st good guitar

same guitar, 1972 Tele Thinline, wish I had not sold it. Arrrgggh, that's what we all say later.

Well, no wonder you like Aaron Williams, Tres! smile

I know it's not polite to covet someone else's guitar but... http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5283/5272 … 39a8_z.jpg

For me, it would probably be my Taylor 114ce acoustic/electric and not because I can play it at all, but because of all the wonderful artists that were kind enough to sign it for me, including Joe. cool

Peavey T-60 in natural finish shortly after they first came out.

Re: What was your 1st good guitar

I have and '89 PRS Custom Standard I got new in the early 90's. Was a leftover model that nobody ever bought. Plays great and sounds amazing. Just always had a good feel to it. Not too wild about the PRS's currently since they have lost some of their mystique. -S

Re: What was your 1st good guitar

A Lyle W-460 acoustic, it's a Hummingbird replica I bought in '72 for $89.00. Still got it and the action and sound is still great. After 40 years I'd never part with this Gee-Tar.

Re: What was your 1st good guitar

Well, my first is a 2010 Fender CD60 named Rose, I'll never part with her. I have never paid over 300 for anything music wise, but I do treasure everything I have.

My name is Red. I like the Blues.

2009 Squier J-Bass, 2010 Fender CD-60, 2010 Ibanez Artcore AS-73, 2011 Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar SS Bass, 2011 Dillion Phoenix

Peavey T-60 was a great guitar.....lots of unique features for it's time...a bit on the heavy side...

Re: What was your 1st good guitar

A Fernandes Les Paul, bought new in 1987. These guitars were also marketed as Burny

I still have it and play it in preference to my Gibson Les Paul Std. The guitar has recently been re-fretted, had a pair of Bare Knuckle Mules fitted to it and re-wired, 50's style, with new pots and caps. Knocks spots off the Gibson

Re: What was your 1st good guitar

My first guitar was a mini-acoustic Martin. I sold it and bought a Squier Strato. Which I sold and bought a SG. Still have it 4 years later, it's a good one!
Wish it was a Gibson , tho tongue

I'm broke, motherf**ker!

Re: What was your 1st good guitar

1977 Fender Stratocaster.

I still own my T-60 ....almost got rid of it...but changed my mind years ago....it's probably a 9/10 condition at least

Funny thing on Monday I found the original receipt for that 74 Sg I still own...I paid a whopping 339.20  with Gibson hard case.
( 320 + 19.20 tax) in May 1974.....I don't know where the 375.00 came from...Pretty cool case candy !
